Hey guys it` s Maven and I just wanted to talk about how much effort the fisherman put into keeping the slaughtering a secret. They go through alot with tarps and gaurds so that noone sees the blood and disgust that the fisherman cause. But let me ask you this , if the fisherman feel like they have to cover up what they do than why do they do it ?

  1. Sadly, the desire for money brings out great ugliness in people. What you see with these fishermen is the lengths they will go to in order that they might reach their monetary goal.

Unfortunately, you will recognize this ugliness in people at various stages throughout your life.

I am reminded of a wonderful quote by Ghandi: "Be the change you want to see in the world."

Perhaps the bigger lesson in all of this is how we can react when faced with our own desires to succeed. Will we behave like these fishermen? We hope not.

Keep up the great blog! :-)

    1. Hi, this is Lauren. I am always the one to reply to our comments, but I totally agree with you. but one of our goals not only would be, to help the dolphins out of the slaughtering but to also get a chance to help the fishermen in a way were they don't feel like they need to kill the dolphins sometimes for money. thanks so much for commenting-Lauren
